St. Peter Food Shelf

March is here and that means that we are collecting funds in support of the St. Peter Food Shelf. Because of COVID-19, church services have been cancelled through March 22nd, with future cancellations possible. This has severely impacted our fund drive. The month of March is very important to local Food Shelves because they are able to stretch their cash donations to discount products and programs. We ask that you send your donations soon (checks only) to the following address: Lee Johnson, 1607 North 5th Street #3, St. Peter, MN 56082. Please make your checks out to Church of the Holy Communion and note on the memo line of the check that it is for the St. Peter Food Shelf. The church will write one check at the conclusion of the fund drive and give it to them. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Last year we raised $2725, and we are aiming for $3000 this year. For those Communicator readers who live outside of St. Peter, please support the food shelf in your area.
